His work has been featured and reviewed in the Art in America, Art News, Contemporary Art Daily, and Hyperallergic, among many others. Cross is also an Adj. Prof at KBCC in Brooklyn teaching Painting and Drawing.

Andy Cross lives and works in Brooklyn. Cross layers sundry stylistic approaches and wide-ranging narrative themes in vibrant, zippy paintings that often defy categorization. Cross’s energetic use of color and loose gestural brushstrokes evidence an emotive, stream-of-consciousness approach to painting.
